I initially studied political science in Frankfurt am Main before switching to law. From the outset, criminal law, and especially criminal defense, was my great interest. Therefore, I chose criminology as my area of specialization. Following the written exams for the first state examination, I also worked for a year as a research assistant on a criminal law research project.

 

During my legal traineeship at the Oberlandesgericht Frankfurt am Main, I maintained my focus on criminal law. In addition to the mandatory criminal law placement, which I completed at an appeals chamber of the Landgericht Darmstadt, I also completed my practical and elective placements with criminal defense attorneys Leon Steinbacher and Wiebke Otto. The insights I gained into the daily work of criminal defense reinforced my decision to pursue this path as well.

 

Since January 2025, I practice law exclusively in criminal defense.
